Red Star Pro II Matte Box Full Bundle is really a full version skilled matte box kit that consists of just about every component you need in a pro matte box (donut rings, filter frame & stage, flags, and etc) and you don't pay nothing more for all of these accessories already included in the package! Red Star Pro II Matte Box is also height adjustable just like our previous model starter pack matte box.

This thing makes my camera look like it came straight out of Hollywood on a production set, and while it certainly looks complicated to the novice, its actually fairly easy to set up and pack away after your done shooting.

Please note, this is probably not the best choice for light and fast 'run and gun' style shoots because its pretty heavy duty and almost all metal. But, then again, Red Star makes a smaller and lighter matte box for that purpose, which is also very inexpensive.

Overall I'm am very impressed with this matte box and thankful that Red Star is looking out for the little guys and not trying to gouge us with insane prices we are able to never afford. Although a matte box is not the highest priority of a film maker it sure does help impress a client especially when your walking with a DSLR and your client doesn't understand that the DSLR blows away your more expensive $4000 to $5000 camera's.
