Dominic and Shane formulated the story for years ahead of being happy enough to begin production.

Meeting Jesco did not make us transform the script a lot, we have been pretty faithful to our unique concept. There was this quick story that we had that was a narration of his existence and we had to build it right into a screenplay, and we kept faithful to that. Jesco is portrayed amazingly by Edward Hogg, who regardless of coming from Doncaster, has the charisma and raw vitality to be utterly convincing.



His eyes are awesome, they pop off the screen. The Uk Film Council, who funded the film, loved the script.
